The film:

“The German parachutist Stroszek, after being wounded, is sent to a fortress turned into an ammunition dump located in a forgotten island. The man moves there with his wife and two soldiers: Meinhard, a rough and violent character, and Becker, a taciturn intellectual fascinated by the Grecian archeological finds. All the group feels awkward living in a total inactivity, but especially Stroszek feels the effects.”
