The film restoration:
The preservation of Margherita fra i tre was carried out by the CSC - Cineteca Nazionale of Rome and Museo Nazionale del Cinema di Torino, and it was presented at the 66th Venice Film Festival as part of the retrospective “These Phantoms 2,” curated by Sergio Toffetti. A characteristic of this feature film – and of the other film that was presented in this same section, Uno tra la folla, which is virtually unknown to and unseen by the greater public – is that it was made in Torino in the historical studios of Fert, which was founded during the heydays of Torino’s silent film production.
