The film restoration: 

La vestale (1910, Itala Film) was restored by La Cinémathèque de Toulouse and Museo Nazionale del Cinema of Turin from a nitrate positive held by La Cinémathèque de Toulouse. The print was scanned at 4K and digitally restored in 2K. Besides the theatrical digital releases, a conservation duplicate negative and two positive release copies were printed in 35mm. The restoration work was carried out at L’Immagine Ritrovata laboratory in 2020.
