The film:

"Robinet, buried under a pile of bags, drives to his holiday seaside resort. His car overturns and Robinet is forced to walk carrying all his heavy bags. When he arrives, he discovers that the hotel is full. He looks for another hotel where he finds only one available room in the garret and he accepts. He sighs with relief when he can put down the bags, but his efforts to find a boat don’t succeed. He decides then to go swimming as he likes and, since he finds a few friends in a family meeting, he joins them in the water. But he soon argues with a husband, he gets knocked and he drags himself again to the hotel, where we leave him while, with the help of a heavy- calibre revolver, vigorously declares war to the cheap hotels, enemies of the rest."
