The film:

"After many silly films, more or less American, finally an Italian movie that we can watch from the beginning to the end with an artistic pleasure. It’ s a very funny movie that is never boring and that both young and adults can enjoy, without undermine any sensibilities nor recurring to the usual system of rude pochades […]. This frenzied hunt is so full of enjoyable and delicate scenes, that it is impossible to describe them all. I say it again: there isn’t a single individual scene that is boring; the succession of new adventures, some of them truly original, keep the attention of the public awake. Ajax and all the staff have worked so well, in order to make this comedy of the Rodolfi-Film a little jewel of the cinematographic art. The mise-en-scene is excellent, the photography is good.  The film obtained a huge success and victoriously obtained the exclusive for an entire week."
